I adore Maria Bamford’s wild exploration of mental illness. Showrunner Pam Brady wove a rich multi dimensional story that veers in and out of fantasy and across multiple timelines. And still all of the craziness serves Maria’s heartfelt stories. Building these worlds was pure joy for me. Fun fact: we had so many animals on set that our wranglers set up a petting zoo at lunch.
